About me

    I’m a project/program evaluation specialist who genuinely loves data. For over 10 years, I’ve helped several organizations improve their capacity to tell compelling stories about their organizational impact using data obtained from their respective projects and programs. My clients comprise organizations in the public, private and non-profit sectors as well as funders and international development organizations, including Global Affairs Canada (GAC), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Emergency Children's Help Organization (ECHO) and Department for International Development (DFID). Bilingual (French and English) with a basic level in Spanish.

Experience

  • Advisor, Capacity Development, Monitoring and Evaluation-Federation of Canadian municipalities (FCM)

    2021 to present

    The Federation of Canadian municipalities manages the Green Municipal Fund (GMF) that aims to provide municipalities across Canada with the resources, training and tools they need to build resiliency and create better lives for Canadians. I am responsible for developing and implementing the monitoring and evaluation strategy for the capacity development programming. My role entails the analysis of effectiveness, progress towards outcomes and impact. In addition, I provide ongoing support to the team in terms of data analysis, developing quarterly and annual reports and telling the story of the achievements of the capacity development programming.

  • Program Evaluation and accreditation Specialist-Saegis

    2019-2021

    As a member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), Saegis provides professional development programs and practice management services for Canadian physicians, healthcare professionals, teams, hospitals and clinics. I was responsible for developing and implementing the monitoring and evaluation system for all Saegis lines of business including collecting and analyzing data, writing annual reports and making recommendations to program managers and board members regarding adjustments to the offerings as required. In addition, I was in charge of all the Saegis offering accreditation cycles (I collected/developed accreditation documents and submitted/resubmitted offerings for accreditation).

  • Project Coordinator-Refugee 613

    2018-2019

    I coordinated the Digital Messaging for Settlement and Integration (DMSI) project, a $ 877,300 CAD three-year Canada-wide project funded by IRCC and implemented by Refugee 613 in collaboration with three settlement agencies. I was responsible for leading the planning and the implementation of the project. This included collaboration with partners, developing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation plan, reporting and budget.

  • Knowledge management and learning advisor-Care

    2016-2018

    I oversaw the monitoring, evaluation and learning strategy for the country office and headed multiple qualitative and quantitative research studies on financial inclusion, food security, education, water and sanitation resulted in ameliorating 20+ programs design and implementation. I participated in the development of proposals, logical frameworks and performance measurement framework for a variety of donors, including Global Affairs Canada (GAC), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Department for International Development (DFID), and the European Union.

  • Monitoring and evaluation specialist-Care

    2015-2016

    Responsible for developing and implementing the monitoring and evaluation systems for over 3 development economic projects funded by European Union, and DFID. I conducted several baseline and midline evaluations, contributed to quarterly and annual reports and built the M&E capacity of the team.

  • Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Manager-Canadian Red Cross

    2012-2015

    Provided technical support to develop theory of change and logical frameworks for country office programs. Implemented monitoring and evaluation strategy and supported the Communication team in the development and the implementation of a complaints mechanism and feedback/accountability system.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation officer-Catholic medical mission board (CMMB)

    2011-2012

    Responsible for collecting quantitative and qualitative data, feeding the program database and developing monthly and quarterly technical reports.

  • Project livelihoods and food security program coordinator -Save the Children

    2010-2010

    I was responsible for implementing a Є2.5 millions livelihoods project which includes activities implementation, staff management, budget and reporting.
